We have uploaded a video showing little of the work so far.
In the video, the animation have not yet been implemented as these are not ready yet.
In the video you can see some if the following testing:
- We are testing an early prototype of 3 different weapons: Pistol, Shotgun and assault rifle.
- Weather system
- Aiming
- Hit Box
- Given Damage
- Taken Damage
- Spawn triggers

What is Project Day Zero?
The game is a simple yet huge. What would you do if you wake up tomorrow and everyone is gone? All there is left is a deserted city, and something dark lurking around, watching every move you make.
So the basic is: Search & find, scavenger & loot, barricade and survive. You need food and water to survive. Safe place to sleep, something to keep you sane. You need medical supplies to treat wounds. Weapons to defend you're self. Find planks and nails to barricade windows and doors and so on.
As you progress the game (if you manage to survive) you will discover bit by bit the story behind the empty streets, abandoned cars, deserted buildings and what is hunting you.
We have not yet decided to use 3rd person / over the top down, or first person. FP would be scariest and most intense also most realistic.
